1. What Motorkeep is

Motorkeep is an introduction and discovery service for professional car storage in the United Kingdom. We publish facility listings, editorial guides and an enquiry service that passes your details to facilities at your request.

2. What Motorkeep is not

We do not own, operate, inspect on an ongoing basis, insure or take any possession-related responsibility for any storage facility or any vehicle. Any storage contract, its pricing and terms, insurance arrangements, and any bailment relationship arise solely between the vehicle owner and the facility. We are not a party to those arrangements and accept no liability arising from them, including loss of or damage to any vehicle.

3. Listings and accuracy

Listing information is compiled from public sources and from facilities themselves. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but do not warrant it. Features, prices and availability change — always confirm directly with the facility before committing. “Verified” indicates that specific evidence was checked at the time of verification; it is not an ongoing guarantee or an endorsement.

4. Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry authorises us to share the details you provide with the facility (or, where clearly stated, up to three facilities) you selected. Facilities respond directly; we don't guarantee a response or any outcome.

5. Facility accounts and lead charges

Facility operators may claim a listing free of charge, subject to verification. Claiming costs nothing and there is no monthly fee or subscription.

How charging works. A facility that wants to receive leads saves a payment card. We then charge a fixed fee per lead delivered, at the price shown in its dashboard, exclusive of VAT and billed by Stripe. A lead means an enquiry from a car owner, including their contact details, that we deliver to that facility. If no leads are delivered, nothing is charged.

Lead quality.If a lead's contact details do not work, or the enquiry is plainly outside what the facility offers, tell us within 14 days and we will credit it. Credits are issued at our discretion but we apply this generously — we would rather refund a lead than argue about one.

Control. A facility can pause leads at any time from its dashboard, and its listing stays visible while paused. Removing the saved card stops all further charges.

Paying for leads buys introductions only. It never buys the Verified badge, never removes competitors, and never changes how we rank a facility against what a car owner actually asked for. We may suspend listings or accounts that provide false information.

6. Acceptable use

No scraping at scale, no false enquiries or claims, no misuse of contact details received through the platform (facility operators may use enquiry data only to respond to the enquiry, consistent with data protection law).

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from use of the platform is limited to £100 or, for paying facilities, the lead fees paid in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. General
